About Us:
In March 1920, River Products Company, Inc. was organized becoming Iowa City’s first successful manufacturing plant, producing crushed limestone and sand and gravel. Our operations include five limestone quarries, three stone yards and two sand and gravel pits in Johnson, Louisa and Washington Counties that produce approximately 2 million tons per year. Product is marketed in seven southeast Iowa counties.
